It's been a while since there was any update on Hocus Pocus 3, with rumours the production was in limbo, however Deadline has exclusively revealed that Hocus Pocus 3 is indeed still in the works and that Bette, Kathy and Sarah are all confirmed to be returning once more!
Hocus Pocus 3 is also planned to have a theatrical run this time and will not be a Disney+ exclusive upon release!
Executive Vice President of production Jessica Virtue will be overseeing the project. A third film, in the now franchise, was first confirmed in 2023 by Sean Bailey, who was previously the head of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, until his departure.
The film is still in very early stages of production, so we don't yet know if Anne Fletcher is still attached to direct, along with Hocus Pocus 2's writer Jen D'Angelo also expected to return.
