The original Hocus Pocus may have a plethora of deleted scenes that we're all hoping to see one day, but did you know Hocus Pocus 2 also has a handful of deleted scenes too?
The missing scenes from the sequel are only minor in comparison to the original film and luckily a small glimpse of some of these scenes can be seen in the original trailers and tv spots.

In a featurette released via the Disney+ X page, we can see a small number of extended and alternate scenes.
The first alternate scene we see is when the Sanderson Sisters are on stage, we hear the crowd all shout "Oooo". Although this is different from what we see in the film, it is possible that it's simply taking from the filming of that scene and the audio of the Sanderson Sisters singing was placed over the top. The next extended scene is inside Walgreens. In this brief scene we see Mary looking at a Shark Vacuum display and saying "Put down your broom. Pick up a Shark". This small scene shows us how Mary ended up with her Shark flying devices. The third and final scene we see is towards the end of the video. In a blink and you'll miss it moment, we see Sarah on the floor encouraging the Shark Vacuums to suck up the salt, with Mary and Winnie cheering behind her. |

In another video, this time posted to the official Hocus Pocus Instagram account, there is a very brief alternative scene of Winifred in the Magic Shop/their home.
In the original film, Winifred shouts "Throw them in the dungeon" before forcing Becca and Izzy into the basement of the house. In this teaser we see Winifred instead shout "Curse thee" before firing green bolts at Becca and Izzy. Another scene featuring a man dressed as a scarecrow was filmed but was not included in the film.
In this particular scene Winifred comes face to face with this scarecrow character and some kind of altercation occurs, resulting in Winifred zapping him with her powers and the scarecrow going flying across the Salem Scare Fest. Although it was never included in the film, images from the scene were shared online during the films production. Credit for the below images below to their respective owners. |
