Hocus Pocus 2 was originally rumoured to film once again in Salem MA, however filming was officially announced to take place in Rhode Island. Filming began October 18th 2021 in Providence Rhode Island under the working title of Black Flame. The flashback scenes featuring the young Sanderson Sisters in 1600's Salem were filmed at Chase Farm and the Providence Armoury was also used for filming too. Re-shoots took place on 34th Avenue in New York City.

Disney tried to keep as much of Hocus Pocus under lock and key as much as they could, however props did make their way from the sets and into the hands of auction houses and resellers. Below is a selection of prop pictures that have either been sold (by third parties) or showcased from the film.
There were quite a large number of gifts given to the cast and crew once filming had wrapped. This included a pre-printed signed picture of Bette, Sarah and Kathy, as well as stickers, a battery powered black flame candle, North Face jacket and even jewellery!
Disney doesn't appear to have released much to do with the behind the scenes of Hocus Pocus 2 (hopefully they're saving it for a physical release), but what they have released is below and it includes bloopers!
