In 2023 Hocus Pocus reached it's 30th anniversary and although the 20th and 25th Anniversaries were a spectacle, the 30th was a little calmer.
The film was re-released in theatres across the USA, UK and Netherlands and three new posters were created to celebrate it's anniversary.
In the UK, Park Circus handled the release and released a new poster featuring a classic image of the Sanderson Sisters which was used to promote the film. In the USA a completely new poster was created by Studio Number One and featured the Sanderson Sisters home, bewitching hands, their flying devices and more. This poster was used to promote the re-release and was sent out to theatres across the USA. Screenings began late September and continued right until Halloween.
D23 hosted The Black Flame ball in Salem on the 7th of October 2023. Guests were treated to a walking tour of Salem, a costume party held at the Hawthorn Hotel and guests also received a lanyard, pin, 30th anniversary poster and tumbler.

The El Capitan Theatre hosted a special 30th Anniversary event on October 6th 2023. During the event there was a Q&A with Kenny Ortega, David Kirschner and John Debney. Guests were able to see original props from both films and also received an exclusive lanyard and poster featuring a pumpkin and the Black Flame Candle.
Along with these events, Disney also released new 30th Anniversary merchandise at the parks and via Shop Disney.
